Bachtenkirch – Cast iron hook

The Bachtenkirch cast iron is a purist. Cast iron, it grows out of the wall and remains unagitatedly patent with the possibility of accommodating only one coat rack. Due to its cast iron manufacture, it appears exceptionally robust as a small hook. In its swivelling version, it has a very special surprise in store. Hardly comprehensible, it gives every wall a quiet dynamism, as each hook is always positioned slightly differently depending on the user.

Galvanised cast iron (burnished/old brass or silver nickel-plated) or simply painted black. Produced as pew hooks by Wilhelm Bachtenkirch (1895 – 2003) until we took over. Other products went into export, wholesale or the East Westphalian furniture industry.
